Every aspect of modern upholstery.
Commissions, chair and sofa reupholstery, a library of gorgeous fabrics and handmade soft furnishings, all from the studio at The Old Granary in Hampshire.
Statement pieces, made to order.
Bespoke and statement pieces for private clients, boutique hotels and interior designers. Bring me a tired frame with good bones, or a picture of the piece you wish existed, and I'll build it with you from the fabric up.
Send me a photo of what you have in mind, or upload a few images with your enquiry, and I'll come back to you with ideas and a no obligation quote.
- Private clients, one treasured piece at a time
- Boutique hotels, from reception to guest rooms
- Interior designers (trade enquiries welcome)
Treasured pieces, carefully restored.
Modern upholstery techniques to restore chairs, sofas and treasured heirlooms, stripped back and rebuilt from the frame up so a tired piece is comfortable for another fifty years.
I offer free, no obligation quotes. Send me a photo of your piece, or upload a few images with your enquiry, and I'll give you an honest opinion on what it needs and whether it's worth restoring.

Thousands of fabrics to fall for.
Choosing the fabric is the best part, and the part people find hardest. The studio holds a large selection of sample books, from contemporary abstracts and bold botanicals to classic traditional weaves, and I'll happily sit with you until we find the one.
I hold accounts with a wide range of fabric suppliers, so I can source almost anything you've seen elsewhere.
- Sample books to browse in the studio
- Samples to take away and live with
- Honest advice on durability, rub counts and cleaning
The details that finish a room.
Curtains, blinds, pelmets, cushions, throws and runners, all made at the studio on my industrial machine, often to match or complement a piece I've upholstered for you.
A pair of scatter cushions in the sofa's fabric, a headboard to match the bedroom chair, a blind in the same print as the window seat. It's the soft furnishings that pull a room together.
- Curtains, Roman blinds and pelmets
- Cushions, box cushions and window-seat pads
- Headboards, throws and runners
The small print, in plain English.
These terms apply to commissions, reupholstery and soft furnishings work. Please take some time to read them, and if you have any questions or queries do not hesitate to contact me.
