Deposits and payment

• Booking fees, deposits and course fees are non-refundable, due to the cost of ordering frames and upholstery sundries and ensuring tutor cover on your dates.
• The deposit is due at the time of booking.
• On the five-day Hobbyist and the six-week Intensive, you may reserve your place with a £195 booking fee. The booking fee is part of the course fee, not an extra charge.
• On the Intensive, the remaining enrolment payment — bringing the total paid to 50% of the course fee — is due within 14 days of booking.
• The balance of the course fees must be paid in full 30 days before the course start date.
• If you'd like to book a course with less than 30 days to the course start date, then full payment is required.
• One-day courses must be paid in full on the day of booking.

Changing dates in exceptional circumstances

• Where an occasional date needs to be changed, we will accommodate with an alternative date — so please notify us as soon as possible.
• If dates are cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, the day will be deducted from your course duration and a new date can be arranged and charged at the day rate.

Cancellation by Dawn Houghton Upholstery Ltd

In the unlikely event of any course having to be cancelled by Dawn Houghton Upholstery Ltd prior to the starting date, for whatever reason, a full refund will be made to the student — or an alternative date can be booked and your payment will be held over for the new course.

It should be noted, however, that Dawn Houghton Upholstery Ltd accepts no liability for additional expenses such as travelling, accommodation fees or other related costs that may have been incurred. So, if you're booking accommodation, please consider cancellation insurance.

In the unlikely event of any day being cancelled by Dawn Houghton Upholstery Ltd during your course, an alternative date will be offered.

Course hours

All courses begin at 9.00am and finish at 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, and run 9.00am to 1.00pm on Friday.

Personal protective equipment

Personal Protective Equipment is provided for you — please make use of it.

Photography

From time to time photographs may be taken during the courses. Please let us know if you'd prefer not to be photographed.
